Anika Brazil Swimwear has come a long way since 2001. Ever since she was younger, self-taught American designer Monika Hornbostel has been fascinated by the exotic Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro—with Rio's beautiful beaches, lively culture, and mesmerizing ambiance, who could blame her? Monika Hornbostel decided to turn her mere fascination into her full-time career when she launched Anika Brazil in 2001.
