Debbie Katz Beachwear is living proof that fashion is not lost in translation. Born in Argentina and raised in Germany, Debbie Katz moved to South Beach, Miami in search of a dream. Having left behind her career as a translator in Europe, she decided to explore her talents as a designer in America. After the birth of her daughter, she occupied her time with the task of creating beautiful dresses, cover-ups, and beachwear for her daughter to wear in sunny Miami Beach. She created truly unique dresses and cover-ups, combining old world flair with new world comfort. Debbie Katz’s creations became so popular, that friends and family began asking her to make beachwear and cover-ups for them too, and in 2001, the Debbie Katz Beachwear line was born.
