Although it was only launched in spring of 2007, Despi Swimwear is quickly becoming a worldwide favorite in the designer swim and beachwear industry. Despite having graduated with a degree in Business Administration, chief creator and designer of Despi Swimwear, Despina Filios, soon realized that her true calling was in fashion design—she pursued her passion for fashion and was accepted into one of the best design schools in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Now, with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, Despina Filios has already won Rio’s Fashion Week design contest, and her impressive designer swimwear collections have won the hearts of women around the world.
