Dodgy Country Music Fashion

At the 40th Country Music Awards in Nevada, those country stars really pulled out all the stops in their attire.

But some of it was ever so slightly questionable, with plenty of cowboy hats and cowboy boots on display, as well as some of the most tasteless dresses ever seen on a red carpet.

Sure, it wasn't the Oscars but why is it that country music stars can't quite get the fashion thing right?

Think Dolly Parton, Shania Twain... and still it goes on.

The plethora of cowboy hats and boots is understandable, but there's never any excuse for unflattering dresses, bridal-style gowns or doilies masquerading as frocks.
